Hot crab spread
Combine : *1 8 oz cream
cheese *1 T milk *2 t
Worcestershire sauce
Drain and flake one
can crabmeat (7 1/2 oz)
Add to cream cheese mixture with 2 T chopped green
onions. Turn into greased 8 inch pie
plate. Top with 2 T toasted slivered
almonds.
Bake in 350 oven for 15 min. or till heated through. Serve with crackers.
Potato casserole
*5 medium potatoes *1 1/2 cups small curd cottage cheese
*1/2 cup sour cream (I
substituted this with whipping cream, but not as much)
*salt and pepper to taste
*1 medium onion, chopped
fine
*3 T chopped chives (I
used green onions)
Peel, boil and
mash potatoes; add remaining ingredients.
Put in greased casserole, dot with butter, and
sprinkle with parsley flakes. Bake in 350
oven for 45 min.
Note: *T = Tablespoon
*t = teaspoon
Cheese dip
8 oz light cream cheese
1 & 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/3 cup miracle whip salad dressing
1/3 cup sliced almonds
2 Table spoon green onion, chopped
Mix together and put in the casserole and bake at
350 for 20 min. until bubbly.
p.s. Save some almonds and green onions to sprinkle on the top before baking.
Banana Nut Bread
Cream ……*1 c. sugar *1/4 c salad oil
Add ………*2 eggs, slightly beaten
*1 c. crushed bananas (2 med)
*2 c. Jiffy biscuit mix
*1/2
c. chopped nuts
Beat well and pour into well greased and floured pans (I spray pan) large loaf pan - 1 hour at 350

small pans - 40 - 45 min.
It is ready when the tooth pick comes out clean.
